Brand strategy built on psychology, from Chicago

Studio JUDE is a creative studio out of Chicago built on a single belief. That creativity and strategy are inseparable. That the best brands are built at the intersection of both. And that the founders willing to commit to that intersection are the ones who win in the end.

After graduating from Depaul University with a degree in English Literature, I found myself working four jobs—because I wanted a recording studio bad enough to sacrifice my own sleep for it. I built it. Taught myself everything from scratch: drums, guitar, keys, vocals, production. And that obsession turned into over thirty sync licenses. HBO, Netflix, Hulu, ABC, NBC, the CW, a Google Travel ad. Proof that committing fully to something works.

Then I lost everything I had saved up in the markets. And instead of walking away I spent four years learning why. The psychology behind every decision I made under pressure. The patterns, the emotions, the triggers. I turned a couple thousand into half a million. Then hit a streak that took about one and fifty of that back. I walked away with my sanity barely intact. But I survived. And I had enough capital stashed away to rebuild.

Design was the only constant through all of this. So that's where I started over. It was the side hustle that quietly lived in the background. A logo, a website, editorial grids, marketing for a friend…

Studio JUDE exists because of everything those years taught me about human behavior, about risk, about what it actually takes to build something people believe in. The importance of consistency. Every brand I touch is built on research, strategy, and intentional design. At the root is always a genuine understanding of who your customer is and why they make the decisions they make. Because your success is my success.

JUDE translates to gratitude. For the journey, the failures, the lessons, and the founders who trust me with something that matters the world to them.

This studio was built on commitment, self-awareness, and the refusal to stay safe.
